What an amazing weekend it has been... after major tiredness last week, body soreness, and general slackerness with the gym plan, I was back on the wagon this morning! I moved my "high intensity intervals" from the treadmill to the stair mill. I did 3 minutes total at 90 steps/minute and the rest of the time at 50 steps/minute. i was actually dripping sweat onto the stair mill - yes, I am a hot mess at the gym! :-) My goal for tomorrow evening is to do 5 minutes total at the 90 steps/minute pace, and the rest at the 50. I tried to do an additional minute today, but had nothing left in me to give... legs are sore, but in a very good way! I didn't lose any additional weight last week, which isn't surprising as i only gymmed 2 days, rather than 4 days - but, i did MAINTAIN!!:-) still weighed in at 188 this morning! Onward to the 170's!!
In other weekend news: 1) do not buy the cutie oranges at Costco, as they do not last more than a week! and who can eat 20 oranges in a single week? apparently not me! 2) i watched the Social Network this weekend, and if any part of that movie was fact, those guys are major douchebags! 3) for the first time, since probably college, i slept in on Saturday until 11:30am! amazing... it helped that i didn't get home until 3am, and was already exhausted from the week, but still... woo hoo... totally rested - bring on Monday!
Way to go girl! And yeah, I'm no fan of the individuals portrayed in the Social Network. I hate that facebook is the easiest way to share updates >.<
